Palestinian Aid Convoys

ButterflyRosina recently found out that she was in the bloodline of Mary Magdalene, and spent some time researching further this amazing woman. The more she found out about Mary, the more she took inspiration from her. Mary was a woman in a male dominated world, and had to virtually fight for every right. Rosina today finds herself in a similar world, and with the huge task she has chosen to take on board for herself, she is going to need every ounce of resolve that her predecessor had.

On completing further research, she found herself tracing the Mary bloodline back to what is now Palestine, and now it is clear to her why watching a documentary a while back entitled 'Occupation 101', this effected her so badly. The documentary tells the story of the plight of the Palestinian people through their own eyes, and to this day remains essential viewing to anyone that wants to find out what it is really like for Palestinians to live in their homeland.

So Rosina has decided to dedicate the rest of her life to helping those much less fortunate than herself, including more than likely members of her own family, with her Mary Magdalene connection now firmly established.

She plans to take her first 7.5 tonne truck with clothing and medicines to Gaza in March, and to stay for a few months building bridges with the communities there. Once also the appeal gathers momentum, she has already some volunteers lined up for further trucks of supplies.

She also plans aid convoys to both the Jordan and Lebanon in the future, as well as a convoy to Romania, in honour of her gypsy horse 'Daisy'.
